Born to Be Different
It all started with a digital camera—a Sony Cybershot with an internal lens and a memory card. Some say it was simply a tool to capture travel destinations; I say it was my way of preserving and recreating memories in a digital form.

Then came my first interchangeable-lens camera, what they call a crop sensor. That’s when things really clicked. The endless possibilities opened up a new world for me—so much to learn, so much to master—and the journey has never stopped.

After countless photoshoots, I still can’t fully explain what makes a photograph “good.” But for me, it has to do more than look pleasing. A photograph should stir emotions and pull you into the scene, leaving you with a sense of admiration.

You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.

Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art.

Both the grand and the intimate aspects of nature can be revealed in the expressive photograph.
